The Advertising and Marketing sector has also just dipped their toes in mobile with pilot marketing campaigns; this is a sector which is also looking for better products, reporting and CRM capability. 

 

  1. Strategic Partnerships & Investment: The mobile sector is ripe for Mergers, Acquisitions and Joint Ventures with untapped synergies between diverse products and geographic entities. Typically mobile companies who have good products and experience do not have the financial backing to grow and on the other side IT & Internet based companies who have good revenues and investment capability are not finding the right products or partners to monetise the mobile opportunity. Another trend which we see is that major investment has moved into developing markets and companies from the region may have excess funds earmarked to invest in well established product brands in the west.
